Privacy Statement

Last updated 9 October 2026

Summary

This site sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and loads nothing from anyone else's server. There is no advertising. We use a lightweight self-run tracking pixel, load fonts from our own server, and process personal data in four places only: the web server's log files, the tracking pixel, the email address you give us to hear about the launch, and the details you send through the contact form.

Who is responsible

The controller for the processing described here, within the meaning of Art. 4(7) GDPR, is:

Welectron — Marco Wünschmann
Heinrich-Hertz-Str. 1
76694 Forst, Germany
info@welectron.com

Full contact details are in the imprint.

Server log files

When your browser requests a page, the web server records the request in a log file. This is the ordinary operation of a web server and happens before any content is delivered. The following is recorded:

  • your IP address;
  • the date and time of the request;
  • the page or file requested, and the amount of data transferred;
  • the status the server returned;
  • the page you came from, if your browser sent one;
  • your browser and operating system, as reported by your browser.

Purpose

To deliver the site, to keep it running correctly, and to recognise and trace technical faults and attacks.

Legal basis

Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is operating and securing the site. Log files are not used to analyse your behaviour, are not combined with any other data, and are not used to build a profile of you.

How long they are kept

Log files are rotated and deleted on the server after 7 days.

Email sign-up

If you use the sign-up form to hear about the launch, we store the email address you enter, together with the date you gave it. We do not ask for anything else, and the address is not required to read any part of this site.

Purpose

To email you when the Pluto Series launches, and to send occasional updates about it in the meantime. We do not use the address for anything else, and we do not pass it to anyone outside the providers named below.

Legal basis

Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR - your consent, given by submitting the form. You may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future, which does not affect anything sent before you did.

Unsubscribing

Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link. You can also write to us using the details in the imprint or through the contact form. Once you unsubscribe, the address is deleted.

How long it is kept

Until you unsubscribe, or until the launch mailing ends and the list is closed - whichever comes first.

Contact form

If you write to us through the contact form, we store the name, the email address and the message you send, so that we can answer you and deal with any follow-up.

Legal basis

Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent, which the form asks for explicitly. Where your enquiry concerns a contract or steps taken before entering one, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR also applies.

How long it is kept

Until your enquiry has been dealt with and no follow-up is expected. Where commercial or tax law requires correspondence to be retained, it is kept for as long as those periods run and deleted afterwards.

You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time, unless a retention period stands in the way.

Cookies and storage on your device

This site sets no cookies and writes nothing to local storage, session storage or any other store in your browser.

Because nothing is stored on or read from your device, § 25 TDDDG does not apply and there is nothing here for you to consent to.

Fonts, images and other content

Everything this site loads is served from the same server as the site itself. The typefaces are installed as part of the site and delivered from our own server, so no request is made to Google Fonts or to any other font service, and your IP address is not disclosed to one.

There are no embedded videos, maps, social media buttons or comment systems, and no content delivery network.

Tracking

We load a lightweight JavaScript tracking pixel from our own domain,It records which pages you visit on this site and how long you stay there, so we can see roughly how many visitors the site gets and whether any part of it is confusing. No data from the tracking pixel is combined with your personal data such as an email address.

Legal basis

Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest is understanding how visitors use the site so we can improve it.

Who else sees your data

The site is hosted for us by Hetzner GmbH, whose servers write and hold the log files described above. Sign-up addresses are held on our servers, and contact messages reach us through our email provider. Each of them acts only on our instructions under a data processing agreement within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR.

Beyond those providers, your data is not passed to anyone. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never combined into a profile.

Transfers outside the EU

No data processed through this site is transferred to a country outside the European Economic Area.

Your rights

In respect of personal data concerning you, you have the right to:

  • ask what data we hold about you and receive a copy of it (Art. 15 GDPR);
  • have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR);
  • have your data erased (Art. 17 GDPR);
  • have its processing restricted (Art. 18 GDPR);
  • receive it in a machine-readable form and pass it on (Art. 20 GDPR);
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest, which covers the server log files (Art. 21 GDPR).

To exercise any of these, write to us using the details in the imprint. Exercising them is free and you do not have to give a reason, except when objecting under Art. 21 GDPR.

Complaints

If you believe your data is being handled unlawfully, you can complain to a data protection supervisory authority in the member state where you live or work, or where you think the breach happened (Art. 77 GDPR).

The authority responsible for us, which follows from our registered office in Baden-Württemberg, is the Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg, baden-wuerttemberg.datenschutz.de.

Changes to this statement

We will update this statement whenever the site changes what it collects or who receives it. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
